Dr. Kachra is an expert facilitator with specific interests in working with Boards and Top Management Teams to map out their strategic direction.  He also has more than 20 years of management consulting and senior management experience in Canada and abroad. Dr. Kachra has worked with medium and large sized companies in Canada, the United States and India.  Companies such as Aircel, Gail, Brinks, Amgen, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Autoland, Danby, UCLA, Southern California Edison, London Hydro, Kingston Hydro, CBI, Ocean Express Seafood Nevada, and the Government of Canada are some of his clients. As a faculty member at the Richard Ivey School of Business, Dr. Kachra has served as the Academic Director of the Ivey Consulting Program, affording him the opportunity to train hundreds of management consultants while managing hundreds of consulting projects. 

Dr. Kachra has been a faculty member at the Richard Ivey School of Business, where he was a member of the University of Western Ontario Teaching Honour Role. At Ivey, he won teaching awards at both the MBA (Lawrence Tapp Award for Teaching Excellence – 3 times) and at the undergraduate level (2 times).   He was also among the highest ranked professors for Executive Development.  As an Executive Development Faculty member, Dr. Kachra has worked with a diverse range of Senior Managers from start-ups, small and family businesses, fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations,He has worked with executives in the for-profit and on-profit sectors.  Dr. Kachra also founded  Ivey’s Diversity Related Training Programme for Faculty and Students. Today over 5000 individuals have gone through Dr. Kachra's Diversity Training Programme.  Dr. Kachra also taught MBA and Executive MBA students at Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business and Management in California where he was a tenured Professor.  

Dr. Kachra started his professional career in Canada where he ran the Small Business Consulting Service at the University of Ottawa, served at the helm of his family’s real estate company, and was the Vice President of Marketing at the Transportation Association of Canada. He has worked in the US for Pepperdine University as the MBA Program Director.   During his time in Istanbul, he worked for Global Securities in Investment Banking, in India as the Managing Director of Ivey India where he founded Ivey's Executive Development Program, and in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan as the Dean of Arts and Science at the University of Central Asia where he worked with His Highness the Aga Khan. Dr. Kachra is a truly global citizen.
